We currently have two weekly youth clubs held on Monday evenings, for young people mainly with Autism, from across the East Hampshire area. Both groups are term time only, with occasional outings in half terms and holidays.
The groups are encouraged to engage and use the facilities available and sometimes they are challenged to be involved in activities that they would not normally do. There are also termly outings such as trips to bowling and the cinema in Portsmouth as well as activities within the local area. We have recently been lucky enough to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Festival Hall.

Some of the most popular activities have been a walk around Petersfield with a stop for for ice cream and a walk around the Heath in Summer with a visit to the Plump Duck. Our aim in the future is to continue to support young people after they reach the age of 18.

We support young carers across East Hampshire between the ages of 8-18, we run 4 clubs each month on a Thursday, just for young carers, they can access support and information as well as mixing with other young people in the same situation. Each school holiday we try to run a trip, we have been to LEGOLAND, Marwell, PGL, Staunton Farm, and many more. We also took the Young Carers on a residential this year to an activity centre in Somerset and we are planning for this to be an annual adventure. We also provide support in the schools, through lunch clubs and 1-1 mentoring and take a whole family approach to our support.
